REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

1. Our Commitment At My Tesla Accessories, customer satisfaction is our priority. We offer refunds, repairs, and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the terms set out in this Policy. Any benefits set out in this Policy may apply in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

2. Australian Consumer Law Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures, you are entitled to:

  • A refund or replacement
  • Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

For non-major failures, we are entitled to repair the item within a reasonable time. If we fail to do so, you are entitled to a refund or replacement.

3. Notifying Us of an Issue Please notify us within 3 days of receiving your order if you have any concerns, dissatisfaction, or if the item has arrived damaged.

4. Change of Mind Returns If you change your mind, we are happy to accept a return provided:

  • You notify us within 3 days of receiving your order
  • The item is returned within 30 days of the date you received it
  • The item is unused and in its original condition
  • The item is in its original, undamaged packaging
  • The product has not been installed or partially installed
  • No damage has occurred during customer unpacking

The cost and logistics of returning the item are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. Partial Refunds Items returned without original packaging may only be eligible for a partial refund, as the absence of packaging significantly reduces the item's resale value.

6. Damaged or Faulty Items If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

  • Contact us within 3 days of receiving the item
  • Provide a short video or photos of the damage or fault
  • Return the item in the condition received, with all original packaging

We will organise a repair, replacement, or refund within 3 business days of receiving the returned item. If the product fails to meet Consumer Guarantees, we will cover return shipping costs.

7. Exceptions We may refuse a repair, replacement, or refund if:

  • The product was misused or not used in accordance with instructions
  • The issue was known to the customer before purchase
  • The customer requested alterations against our advice
  • Any other exceptions apply under Australian Consumer Law

8. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the outcome within 3 business days
  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Please allow 3–5 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your card issuer

9. Warranty All products come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. Warranty claims are subject to assessment and do not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or normal wear and tear.

Please have your proof of purchase ready. A government-issued ID may be required in some cases.
