Tesla made a significant change to the Model Y Juniper mid-production:

Model Y Juniper built before November 2025 (pre-2025.11) — Tesla removed the physical frunk button on these vehicles. Our power frunk kit adds the frunk button back, restoring full hands-free functionality.
Model Y Juniper built from November 2025 onwards (2025.11+) — including all 2026 models and the YL 6-Seater — Tesla reintroduced the physical frunk button. Our kit integrates seamlessly with the existing button.

Detailed installation videos are provided with every unit. The process involves removing frunk screws, unclipping the protective cover, removing the frunk plastic shell, plugging all connectors, and installing the lock attachment and struts. Most owners with basic mechanical experience complete it confidently in a few hours.
