Should I choose a side fridge or sub-trunk fridge?

Choose a side fridge for compact everyday cooling while keeping the boot and sub-trunk available. Choose a sub-trunk fridge for larger capacity, freezing and longer road trips. Some owners use both.

Which Tesla models have custom-fit fridge options?

Current options cover Model Y, Model Y Juniper, Model YL, Model 3 and Model 3 Highland. Storage dimensions differ, so select the exact model variant shown on the product page.

Can I run a Tesla fridge overnight in Camp Mode?

Yes. Compatible compressor fridges can run from the vehicle's low-voltage outlet while Camp Mode maintains the cabin. Monitor your battery level and follow the fridge and vehicle instructions.

How cold can the sub-trunk fridge get?

The current 33L Model Y sub-trunk fridge can refrigerate or freeze, with a listed range of approximately -18°C to +10°C. Check the selected product's specifications because models vary.

Do I lose boot space with a custom-fit fridge?

Side fridges use the side storage recess, while sub-trunk fridges sit beneath the boot floor. Both are designed to preserve the main cargo area when the correct model-specific version is selected.

Can I control the fridge from my phone?

Selected compressor models support the CFridge app for temperature monitoring and adjustment. They can also be controlled directly from the fridge panel.

Can I remove the fridge and use it outside the car?

Many models are removable and can be powered from a compatible 12V source such as a portable battery, caravan or generator. Check the product specifications before relying on external power.
