A note on bikes: We don't recommend mounting bikes on Tesla roof racks. Tesla's glass roof is vulnerable to damage if bike forks are accidentally dropped during mounting. For bikes, a hitch-mount rack is a much safer option.

Do these roof racks fit the Model Y Large / YL?
No. The YL features a new roof design that requires a different rack — our current Model Y racks are not compatible. We have placed an order for YL-specific roof racks which will be in stock in late July 2026.
Can I mount a bike on Tesla roof racks?
We don't recommend it. Tesla has a glass roof and there is a real risk of the bike forks being dropped onto the glass during mounting, causing serious damage. For bikes, a hitch-mount rack is a much safer and more practical solution.
Do Tesla roof racks fit the Model Y Juniper?
Yes. Compatible with the older 2020-24 Model Y and also includes the Juniper (2025+). The Model 3 variant is the same for both the older 2020-2024 Model 3 and the 2024+Highland.

Will they damage the glass roof?
No. Designed specifically for Tesla's glass roof, mounting via existing roof rail points with a "J" hook to hold in the existing rails on the car with no drilling or adhesives.
How do they affect driving range?
The aerodynamic profile minimises drag. Empty racks have minimal range impact.
Loaded racks will reduce range depending on load size and speed.
