Installation Tips
The fitting location is marked by a small arrow on the edge of the glass roof — use a torch to locate it as it can be difficult to see with the naked eye in bright conditions. Position the rack feet over the marked anchor points and tighten locking nuts to 5–6Nm only (firm, not super tight). Do not over-tighten — this can stress the glass edge. Are these roof racks compatible with T-track locking cargo box systems?
Yes! Our crossbars feature a T-slot channel — the same inverted T-shaped groove used by T-track cargo box systems. Pull out the rubber strip on top of the bar to reveal the metal channel, slide your T-bolts into position, and lock your cargo box from the inside. Benefits include better aerodynamics (hardware tucked inside the bar), improved security (locks from inside the closed box), and the ability to use the full bar width. Tip: trim the rubber strip to fit around the bolts and replace it in the gaps to prevent wind whistle while driving.
