Sleep Dead Flat in Your Tesla Model Y
Fold down the rear seats in a Model Y and you get a slope — about 12° where the seat backs rise toward the front. On most car mattresses you spend the night slowly sliding toward the boot.
Our new design fixes that. It's shaped to the car, not just cut to size: thick where the floor dips, thin where the folded seats rise. The result is a completely flat sleeping surface from the boot right through to the front seats.
How the Flat Design Works
- 15cm at the boot end — builds up the low boot floor
- 6cm over the folded seat backs — thin where the seats rise, so the top stays level
- 14cm behind the front seats — fills the gap so there's no drop-off at your head or feet
Thick where the car dips, thin where it rises — a built-in wedge that cancels the 12° slope, so you lie flat all night.
Room to stretch out: I'm 183cm and fill it end to end. Shorter sleepers have space to spare at their feet.
Best for: Model Y owners who want to camp without a tent — couples, solo travellers, and families using Camp Mode for road trips, beach weekends and overnight stops anywhere in Australia.

How does it stay flat when the seats are on a slope?
It's shaped to the car: 15cm thick at the boot end, 6cm over the folded seat backs and 14cm behind the front seats. That built-in wedge cancels the roughly 12° slope, so the top surface is flat.
Which cars does it fit?
Model Y Juniper (2025+) and Model Y 2019–2024. Not suitable for Model Y Performance. A Model Y L version is coming — I'm testing it in my own YL first.
Is it long enough for a tall adult?
Yes. I'm 183cm and fill it end to end, head at the front seats and feet at the boot. Shorter sleepers have room to spare.
Can two adults sleep on it?
Yes. It covers the full area from the boot to the front seats, with room for two adults.
How long does it take to inflate?
Under 2 minutes with the built-in electric pump. Plug it into your Tesla's 12V outlet and it inflates automatically. Deflating is just as quick.
Can I use it with Camp Mode?
Yes. Pair it with Camp Mode climate control, a fridge and window shades for a comfortable night anywhere.
What's in the box?
