When to Replace Your Wipers
Tesla recommends replacing wiper blades every 12 months. In Queensland and other high-UV states the rubber can wear faster, so check them every 6 months. Replace them if you notice streaking, chattering or skipping, squeaking, or cracked rubber.
Installation — About 5 Minutes
- Put the wipers into service mode on your Tesla screen (Controls → Service → Wiper Service Mode).
- Lift the wiper arm away from the windscreen.
- Press the release tab on the old blade and slide it off.
- Slide the new blade on until it clicks into place.

Remove the blue strip — it protects the rubber in transit.
- Lower the arm gently and repeat on the other side.
