Emergency Breakdown Tyre Repair Kit | Tesla & All Vehicles incl. YL
Be better prepared for a tyre emergency
A low tyre or puncture can interrupt a local drive just as easily as a road trip. Keep a rechargeable inflator and puncture tools together in your vehicle so you have practical equipment available when the situation is suitable.
This emergency kit combines an NW05-P smart tyre inflator with a plug puncture repair kit. It is an emergency option for certain suitable punctures, not a guaranteed solution for every flat tyre or a replacement for roadside assistance.
What's included
- NW05-P rechargeable smart tyre inflator.
- Plug puncture repair kit with repair tools.
Contact My Tesla Accessories if you need confirmation of a specific tool, attachment or charging accessory included in the current package.
Compact cordless inflator
- Rechargeable battery for cordless inflation without using your vehicle's 12V socket.
- Type-C charging.
- Listed maximum pressure: 150 PSI.
- Digital display showing target and real-time pressure.
- Automatic stopping at the selected target pressure.
- Built-in LED light for low-light use.
- Listed inflator weight: 650g.
- Listed inflator dimensions: 130 × 112 × 56mm.
The size and weight figures apply to the inflator, not necessarily the complete packed kit. Inflation time and battery runtime depend on tyre size, starting pressure, target pressure and operating conditions.
Suitable use and vehicle compatibility
The listing includes Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Highland, Juniper and YL, as well as other compatible vehicles. Repair suitability depends on the tyre construction, damage and manufacturer's guidance, not simply the vehicle model.
The inflator is also listed for bikes, sports balls and other inflatables where the correct attachment and pressure limits are used. This does not mean the puncture plug kit is suitable for those same items.
Important repair limitations
This is an emergency repair kit, not a permanent tyre repair. Have a damaged tyre professionally inspected as soon as possible to determine whether an approved repair or replacement is required.
Do not use a plug to treat sidewall or shoulder damage, a blowout, large tear, damaged bead or a tyre suspected of internal damage from being driven flat. A puncture plug does not repair a leaking valve or damaged wheel.
Check the tyre manufacturer's restrictions before attempting repairs on run-flat, self-sealing or foam-lined tyres. Holding air after a repair does not by itself establish that a tyre is safe to drive on.
Some practical know-how is required
Read the supplied instructions before you need the kit. Using the puncture tools requires practical know-how and a suitable, safe situation. If you cannot assess the damage or are unsure of the procedure, contact roadside assistance instead.
Only work in a safe location clear of traffic. Follow the kit and tyre manufacturer's restrictions on any onward travel. If the tyre continues to lose pressure, stop safely and arrange assistance.
Inflation and storage guidance
Set the recommended cold tyre pressure for your exact vehicle and wheel configuration, using the vehicle's tyre information label or manual. The 150 PSI maximum is an equipment limit, not a recommended vehicle tyre pressure.
Monitor inflation and verify the final pressure. Follow the supplied run-time, cooling and charging instructions. Allow hot equipment to cool before storing it and keep the kit secured in a dry location.
