One fridge fits them all: the same 33L sub-trunk fridge fits the 2019–2024 Model Y, the Juniper (2025+) and the new Model Y L 6-Seater. It drops into the under-floor sub-trunk, so your main boot stays free for luggage, shopping or camping gear. (Not suitable for Model Y Performance variants.)
Just picked up a YL? This is the fridge for it. There's no YL side fridge until 2027, but the sub-trunk fridge fits the YL now.

The fridge can run all the time and uses minimal power, so food and drinks stay cold while you drive, shop or sleep. Running it overnight? Plug your Tesla in at home or at camp — the car then powers the fridge from the plug rather than the battery, which also supports long-term battery health. To run it outside the car from a household or V2L socket, use an AC-to-DC power adapter.
Sub-Trunk Fridge or Side Fridge?
Choose the 33L sub-trunk fridge for capacity, freezing and app control — it fits every Model Y, including the YL. Choose a side fridge (16L composite or 15L original) for a compact drinks fridge in the Juniper or 2019–2024 Model Y. Many owners run both.

Do I need a different fridge for the Juniper or YL?
No. One fridge fits the 2019–2024 Model Y, Juniper and YL 6-Seater. Just choose your car at checkout.
Does it fit the Model Y Performance?
No. This fridge isn't suitable for Model Y Performance variants.
How cold does it get?
Down to -18°C, so it works as a fridge or a freezer.
Can I use it without the app?
Yes. The built-in control panel sets the temperature without your phone.
Can it run overnight? Will it drain my battery?
Yes, it can run all the time and uses minimal power. To save battery, plug your Tesla in overnight — the fridge then runs off the plug instead of the battery, which also supports long-term battery health.
Do I need the ventilated cover?
It's optional, but recommended. The ventilated cover replaces the felt boot floor cover over the fridge, giving it more airflow for better cooling efficiency.
Can I use it outside the car?
Yes. Lift it out and run it from a 12V DC supply, or from a household or V2L socket with an AC-to-DC adapter.
