How It Works

The V2L Discharger simulates a DC fast-charging session to activate your Tesla’s high-voltage battery contactor. It safely channels DC power to its built-in DC-to-AC sine wave inverter, converting ~400 V DC into standard 240 V AC power.

With up to 5 kW of continuous output, it effortlessly powers household appliances, tools, or electronics.

Usage Instructions:

Safety Information

Wait for the system to start up successfully before connecting the plug to the car.

When shutting down, disconnect the load first, turn off the power switch, then unplug the plug and wait 30 seconds to complete shutdown.

Power On:

Press the button; the red indicator light will turn on as the system powers up.

After about 10 seconds, the yellow indicator light will turn on, indicating the system has started successfully.

Insert the plug into the car; the green indicator light will flash, showing communication with the vehicle.

When the green indicator light turns solid and LCD turns on the device is ready for appliance use.

Power Off:

Disconnect load appliances.

Press and hold the button for 2 seconds; the blue indicator light will flash, and unplug the connection.

After unplugging, the yellow indicator light will turn on; wait 30 seconds for the device to shut down automatically.

Note: Indicator lights are around the button.

Precautions:

Do not use the device in rainy conditions to avoid damage.

Maximum discharge power is 5KW(sockets: 2 × 10A).

Ensure ventilation by not blocking the air outlets and fan.

Do not open the main unit yourself; tampering voids all warranties.

If the device is unused for a long period, the internal battery may need charging. Before use, charge the battery for 30 minutes with a USB C charger.

This device is powered by three 18650 batteries, which initiate its operation.

Once activated, the internal inverter converts the extracted DC current into household AC power, making it suitable for standard appliances. 

The car inverter operates on the principle of DC-to-AC conversion.

The issue of warranty is covered under Tesla .

The Tesla vehicle should not be used as a "stationary power source or will void warranty."

Q. If the temperature is below -10℃ and above 40℃, will the device still work?

A:No, -10℃ to 40℃ is the ambient temperature for normal use of the product . It can be used normally in this temperature range. Below -10℃ or above 40℃, the product will trigger the protection mechanism, which may cause failure to start normally or forced shutdown protection during use.

Q:Is that waterproof ? How can I use it when raining?

A: This product is NOT waterproof. Please make sure to avoid rain or water on the device.

Q: If the light turns blue all the time, what's the reason?

A: The car may not suit the use of this discharger.

Q:When can i use the discharger?

A: If the electricity of car is 20%-95%, you can use the machine.

Q: Should i charge the discharger regularly?

A: No, because there is a small battery pack inside the discharger, which can be used to maintain the daily use of the discharger, and the car's electricity will also reverse charge the discharger when the discharger is used. Generally, the discharger needs to be charged only when it has not been used for a long time.
